WMS Contracts Manager Matt Kempster is the toast of Bishops Tawton School having delivered a project the client thought was more or less impossible!

Transforming this tired and weary building in to a vibrant clean crisp and modern multipurpose facility, WMS, and Matt in particular have exceeded the client’s expectations!

Works included internal decorations, refurbishment of external lighting, re-cladding using Siberian Larch and installation of replacement rainwater goods, all delivered on time in full and with no fuss!

Another day another site! Cladding health and safety concerns have been in the news for some years now and WMS have seen demand increase steadily for their replacement cladding and associated fixing works teams.

Health and safety is of course paramount and WMS are proud of delivering such important work quickly and efficiently.

We continue to work closely with our client partners seeking our support across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset to produce a quality product whilst keeping disruption to all stakeholders to a minimum!

Faced with a sizable job with a range of masonry surface types (all of which have never been painted) to be treated, cleaned and finished, the team have once again gone above and beyond to the delight of the client!
The transformation from drab and dreary weather beaten surfaces to clean, bright fresh finishes has certainly had a massive impact with residents expressing their thanks and admiration for all the hard work!

WMS Contracts Manager Steve “Foxy” Fox pulled out all the stops delivering this project! 

In a workspace best described as a “little bit tight” you can see the challenges Steve and the team had gaining access to, removing and replacing timber cladding with a composite alternative.

But with a little thought and a whole lot of pre-planning the guys did it, another feather in the cap for the North Devon Team!

WMS Somerset Area Manager Chris Snell was “over the moon” with the results achieved by his team on completion of this refurbishment project at Martock Library. Stripping out all the original furniture and fittings, complete re-decoration and installation of new lighting, emergency lighting and flooring has certainly made a massive impact! Result = one happy Somerset Area Manager and one very happy client!

WMS were pleased to assist when a long standing client came to us with a set of particularly awkward circumstances they needed help with including possible road closures!

Faced with working on a split level property, with limited access and parking, sitting snuggly in a tight one way system on a main thoroughfare, WMS have come through with flying colours!

Faced with stripping the existing roof and replacing with new, full cavity wall insulation, application of the full Webber render system to the rear elevation and full external redecoration, this project has been completed with minimal disruption to residents and the wider community. 

Meticulous planning, phased scaffolding, delivery and collection times, sympathetic road closures, out of hours working and collaborative communication with all stakeholders have ensured a smooth roll out and delivery of this work, all completed on time, in full and to the delight of the client, WMS - your trusted contractor!
