Welcome Mark!

WMS would like to welcome Mark Cobbledick as a new addition to the Contracts Management team at WMS in Bideford!

Mark, an experienced manager from roles at South West Water, Flogas and B&Q, brings considerable management and operational experience to the Contracts Management team which continues to make an invaluable contribution to the continued growth of WMS.

Mark a family man with two boys six and three lists his hobbies as being a bad golfer (lots of competition there!) and is a keen Liverpool fan!

Congratulations Matt!

Congratulations go out to Matt Kempster, WMS Contracts Manager on his richly deserved recent promotion to Senior Contracts Manager!

Operating out of our Bideford office Matt joined WMS some 7 years ago and along with his team has consistently delivered projects increasing in size and complexity year on year since then.

Recognised by this clients for his high level communication skills Matt is an integral part of the WMS team.

Operations Director Matt Westaway said " this promotion is recognition of Matt's continued performance and contribution to WMS, he continues to go from strength to strength and delivers consistently, brilliant work, very well done!"

Matt is pictured here just prior to delivering a WMS "meet and greet" session to a room full of residents, another project that was delivered on time on full and within budget!

WMS hails Awesome Twosome!

WMS apprentice’s Ben Hatton and Archie James have really stolen the show at WMS Bideford branch recently – by successfully securing their Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 qualifications!!!

Ben and Archie have both worked really hard to get to this point, and everyone at WMS is proud of them.

WMS Operations Director Matt Westaway said “ apprentices are the future of our business and to see these two lads come through the course and ready to move on to the next stage of their career is fantastic!”

WMS continue to invest in apprenticeships which offer a real grounding for a rewarding career in construction, and WMS in particular!.

APPRENTICESHIPS MATTER!

Bradley smashes it! WMS apprentice painter Bradley Jacka has successfully completed his level 2 painting and decorating course at Truro and Penwith College

Bradley attended college on a regular basis over these last 2 years complimenting his extensive on site experience gleaned across a range of WMS painting contracts with his practical and theoretical studies in higher education.

WMS Cornwall Painting Manager James Gibbon said “Bradley has knuckled down and worked steadily through his apprenticeship and earnt the right to be recognised as a qualified painter, hats off, well done mate!”
