Stress Awareness Month – Support and Upcoming Survey

April is recognised as Stress Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness of stress, its impact, and the importance of maintaining positive wellbeing.

At WMS, we understand that stress can affect anyone and can arise from both work‑related and personal pressures. Ensuring our team feels supported is a top priority, and we are committed to providing resources that promote mental wellbeing.

We have qualified Mental Health First Aiders available for anyone who may need a listening ear or guidance. We also encourage all colleagues to make use of the support provided by the Lighthouse Charity, which offers a range of wellbeing services specifically designed for the construction industry.

Upcoming Anonymous Wellbeing Survey

To gain a clearer understanding of how our colleagues are feeling at WMS, we will shortly be sending out an anonymous survey focusing on wellbeing and work‑related stress. Their honest feedback will help us identify areas where further support may be needed and will play an important role in shaping future wellbeing initiatives.

We encourage everyone to take a moment this month to reflect, reach out if needed, and make use of the support available.
